The Internet is probably one of the most
flexible working environments
you could ever find.
Can it be a decent substitute for a standard
day job or is it just a great source
for some extra money?
This short article has
some answers!
There's no doubt that many “online workers” worldwide, live from the net – and
live well.
How many exactly?
Probably tens of thousands of individuals,
at the very least and possibly even more.
It's their full time occupation and most of them are generating a monthly
income of four or five figures in US dollars.
A lot of other people are using the web just as a means to make some extra
money, on the side.
They have a standard offline full time job, but they're also involved in the
Internet business – something which adds a few hundred to a couple of thousand
dollars to their income on a monthly basis.
There's no doubt that the second group is much larger than the first.
In fact, many of the ones who started their Internet work on a part-time
basis, moved to the “full-time” group after reaching successful results.
Many people dream of quitting their day job for good and
working on the net from their home.
Others actually love working outside their home in a “normal” job, but they're
happy to make more money from their online activities – part-time only.
There's no right or wrong here.
Everybody should choose their own working mode, the way it suits them, their
lifestyle, personality, aspirations and the time they can allocate to their
Internet business activities.
It's totally ok to work online just for an hour or two per day and make some
extra cash and naturally, it's absolutely ok to take the full-time route.
If you're just a beginner and if you're interested in
exploring the option of making money from working on the web, the best
approach to take is the gradual one.
Nothing prevents you from sticking to your current full-time job and exploring
your web options simultaneously, while experimenting with it.
Sure, you'll have to go to work everyday and then come back home to your
“other work”, but if you want to play it safe without taking substantial (and
unnecessary) risks – that's the way to go.
This will enable you to climb up the ranks gradually but steadily, without
risking your current income source.
